The seventh exhibition from David E. Stone's yearlong art exhibition project, one year in LA is entitled, Summer Leisure: Puzzles.
The lazy days of summer are often occupied by carefree activities that help while away the hours. However, sometimes boredom and not entirely relaxation can be the result of all of that free time during a vacation. In the Summer Leisure: Puzzles exhibition, Stone combines the requisite vacation activities of crossword puzzles & dot-to-dots and the accompanying tedium of having nothing else to do but crossword puzzles & dot-to-dots in a series of drawings and paintings on paper.
